'Many Shots At The Same Thing'

Bernard Rudden studied English and Drama at Glasgow University and Russian Language at Strathclyde University.  His love of photography began using his grandfathers Polaroid photograph. The magic was never forgotten.

After working as a director in the theatre he moved to film and made many shorts, 2 feature films ‘Daybreak” and Hunger Artist” as well as music videos, television and documentaries. He has won many prizes and all of his films have been distributed by FilmFour and the British Film Institute. Many of his films have been critically acclaimed and 

won many prizes.

He has also worked as a graphic installation artist and showed at the opening of the Summerhall gallery with ‘Ars Animalis’

Having taken photographs in tandem with his work in the moving image this will be firs time that he has exhibited his work and there is no better place to do this than the Zebra Gallery.
